REMEDY Insurance & Wealth Builders
Mission:
To provide a “remedy” that will educate and empower families, businesses, and their communities, to build wealth through a variety of insurance products that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
The Story
In 2016, Renee Holloway Jones and husband Kenneth “Kino” Jones, founded the Remedy Financial Group. Because of their passion to help others gain knowledge in the insurance industry, the organization was established to educate and ensure individuals, businesses, and inspiring entrepreneurs to understand what insurance had to offer and the benefits of having proper insurance protection. They knew that this was the key to help families build their legacy.
The Name
Renee was inspired to use the name “Remedy”, which was the vision of her late father, Bishop Lonnie E. Holloway Sr., who in 2001, founded a non-profit organization/ministry, called “Remedy For Community Needs”. He wanted his family to understand that God gave him and his seed the “Remedy” to help meet the needs in communities they were called to serve. The organization is still active today and his legacy is carried on by his family.
The Next “REMEDY” Generation
The name impacted Renee, and now 20 years later, she embraced the call to carry on the “Remedy” name and in January 2021, she passed the baton and released the name, vision, and legacy to her youngest son and youngest grandson of Bishop Lonnie Holloway, Sr., Kendrick “Kenny” Jones. Kenny gladly accepted the baton and his parents and family count it a blessing to be able to witness him stepping up and taking “Remedy” to the next level of success throughout this nation. Kenny will take on his new leadership role as the President/General Agent of the new organization, “Remedy Insurance & Wealth Builders, LLC” (Remedy IWB) and will stay true to the mission of the company as he builds a team of insurance professionals.
Remedy IWB was founded out of a passion to educate our community in understanding the importance of having insurance protection, and to use it as a means to build wealth. Our main goal is to build relationships by empowering each client, with insurance information that is specific to their personal and/or business needs. This will protect their lives, assets, and create a legacy of wealth building for themselves and generations to come. We are presently serving NC, SC, and GA and will be expanding to other states in the near future.
Renee stated that for her and Kino to pass this legacy to their son Kenny, was an honor because he understands and ready to accept the call to share the “Remedy” as one of the next generations of young black successful entrepreneurs in the insurance industry. Kenny’s many successes will no doubt honor the legacy of his grandfather, Bishop Lonnie E. Holloway, Sr., for many generations to come and his grandfather’s legacy will live on with a clear vision – to provide a “remedy” to meet the true needs of others!
